Toccata Blocks Level One Set $49.95
Toccata Blocks are proportionally shaped tiles that help music students learn about rhythm and meter. By matching the time signature blocks with their correct bases, you create just enough room for the correct number of notes and rests to fit in that measure. The Level One set contains 4 time signatures (4/4, Common Time, 3/4, and 6/8) and note values from a whole note to individual eighth notes, with the corresponding rest values on the opposite side of the tiles. It also includes a rhythm challenge CD, with answer key and tips on how to use Toccata Blocks. It can illustrate very simple rhythms to advanced syncopated rhythms, and can be used with ages 4 up. There are 35 pieces in the Level One set.
Toccata Blocks Level Two Set $49.95
Toccata Blocks are proportionally shaped tiles that help music students learn about rhythm and meter. By matching the time signature blocks with their correct bases, you create just enough room for the correct number of notes and rests to fit in that measure. Toccata Blocks Level Two supplements the Level One set with the addition of 6 time signatures (Cut Time, 2/2, 2/4, 4/8, 12/8, and 6/4) and adding more complex notes (quarter note triplets, eighth note triplets, sixteenth notes, as well as a dotted whole note). There are 31 pieces in the Level Two set, which all can be used with the Level One set.
Toccata Blocks Percussion Pack $15.95
The Percussion Pack is short-duration notes arranged in syncopated and more complex ways, and very useful for teaching percussion. There are 8 tiles of each rhythm: 2 sixteenth and 1 eighth, 1 eighth and 2 sixteenth, 1 sixteenth 1 eighth 1 sixteenth, sixteenth triplet and 1 eighth, and 1 eighth and sixteenth triplet. As with all Toccata Blocks, the rest values are on the opposite side of the tiles.
